The "her" in       Her Whisky Love

I'm still here!  As some of you may have realized I have been working with Bacardi and helping their 5 single malts gain a foothold in the USA over the past year. This has not allowed me to write as much as I would like but I am still visiting new distilleries all the time. Slowly but surely I will get them up here. I will always have and be her whisky love so please stay tuned! Still writing & posting when I can..

Thanks for bearing with me and in the meantime you can still find me on Instagram @herwhiskylove

Lark Distillery @larkdistillery. I didn’t take the normal tour of Lark Distillery and was fortunate enough to have a personal tour guide. Craig Johnstone, or my “Instagram-Catfish” friend @whiskycraig is a manager and distiller there. He was able to walk me around pers...

McHenry Distillery. You may have heard this distillery called “McHenry and Sons” before, but drop the “and Sons” because while I was there his youngest daughter was hard at work! This is truly a family business and anyone with daughters knows they shouldn’t be ruled ou...

Nonesuch. This was my first distillery visit in Tasmania and it did not disappoint. After many re-arrangements and calls to Rex the owner, we finally got it scheduled! I needed to be there no later than 9AM on Monday morning. I had to be there at this time because they...

Tullamore D.E.W. I’m going to do my best to be diplomatic about this one, but I would not recommend visiting the Tullamore D.E.W. Experience in Tullamore, Ireland west of Dublin. I quickly realized that anything called “experience” was going to be more of a historical...

Teeling Distillery. Easily accessible by public transportation in Dublin, this place was swarming with visitors. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Teeling brothers have a deal for Guinness to send people over to the Teeling Distillery after they go through the infamous Gu...

These stories are all personal opinion and my way of tracking and sharing my whisky travels with friends and family. I of course want accurate facts. I have had lovely and knowledgeable tour guides and if I have facts that are incorrect, it is most likely due to my lack of documentation. If this is the case, please feel free to write to me directly on the "Contact Me" page. I would love to hear from you and meet a fellow whisky lover. Thanks for taking part in my whisky education!
