The "her" in       Her Whisky Love

I'm still here!  As some of you may have realized I have been working with Bacardi and helping their 5 single malts gain a foothold in the USA over the past year. This has not allowed me to write as much as I would like but I am still visiting new distilleries all the time. Slowly but surely I will get them up here. I will always have and be her whisky love so please stay tuned! Still writing & posting when I can..

Thanks for bearing with me and in the meantime you can still find me on Instagram @herwhiskylove

On a map Oola Distillery looks easy enough to get to but this is not the case if you are trying to get there after visiting Bainbridge Island. After missing the ferry back to Seattle there was little I could do to make my 3:00 PM appointment with Oola’s Managing Direct...

I'm not saying that I'm special but I feel quite ahead of the curve with Woodinville. Their name has been plastered across press releases and whiskey headlines this year. This new found fame takes me back to when I lived in Oakland and wanted to start barrel aging and...

Wild Turkey. As you curve around the long, distillery road, you come to a dead end to then be welcomed by a beautiful, new visitor’s center. This is just one of the many extensive capital investments The Campari Group has put into Wild Turkey since they acquired it in...

Wilderness Trail Distillery. While visiting Dingle Distillery in Ireland about a month ago, I met two lovely American’s from Tennessee. They took interest in my whisky education program and have been some of my best followers ever since! They also are spoiled by living...

These stories are all personal opinion and my way of tracking and sharing my whisky travels with friends and family. I of course want accurate facts. I have had lovely and knowledgeable tour guides and if I have facts that are incorrect, it is most likely due to my lack of documentation. If this is the case, please feel free to write to me directly on the "Contact Me" page. I would love to hear from you and meet a fellow whisky lover. Thanks for taking part in my whisky education!
